These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BeehiveDrive ("BeehiveDrive," "we," "us"), a study app for the Utah driver's license written knowledge and Traffic Safety exams. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

Not an official DMV product

BeehiveDrive is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Utah Driver License Division (DLD) or any government agency. Content is based on the publicly available Utah Driver Handbook, but we do not guarantee it is complete, current, or error-free, and it is not a substitute for the official handbook or legal advice. Always confirm current rules with dld.utah.gov before your test.

Accounts

You need an account to save progress and sync it across devices. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian should review these Terms and our Privacy Policy with you before you use the app.

Subscriptions and billing

BeehiveDrive Premium is a $9.99/month subscription billed through Stripe. The free tier includes the Road Signs category, unlimited practice within it, and progress tracking. Subscribing unlocks every other category, the full Traffic Safety track, and unlimited AI tutor questions.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. You can cancel anytime from Account → Manage subscription; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we don't provide partial-period refunds except where required by law. We may change the price of future billing periods with advance notice.

AI features

BeehiveDrive uses AI (via Anthropic's Claude models) to explain missed questions, answer study questions, and suggest study tips. AI responses are for test preparation only, are not legal advice, and may occasionally be inaccurate. If an AI response conflicts with the official Utah Driver Handbook, the handbook controls. Free accounts get a limited number of AI questions per day; Premium accounts get unlimited access within reasonable, good-faith use.

Acceptable use

Don't use BeehiveDrive to attempt to extract, scrape, or resell our question bank or AI system prompts; to interfere with the service; or to use the AI tutor for anything outside Utah driving test preparation.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Account -- this immediately and permanently deletes your account, subscription, and all study data, and cannot be undone. If you can't sign in, email support@beehivedrive.app instead. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of BeehiveDrive will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Utah.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

BeehiveDrive is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee you'll pass any exam. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BeehiveDrive is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
